Hi! I’m Gemma.
Welcome to Marble & Ash.
In 2020, my husband and I bought a derelict Victorian house. What followed was a massive labour of love: endless dust, hundreds of hours spent hunting down the best pieces and prices, and a much-needed creative outlet after years working in consulting and tech.
I started sharing the realistic highs and lows on Instagram (@marbleandash), which has steadily grown into a wonderful community of fellow home lovers. Along the way, we started opening up the house as a shoot location, and I began collaborating with brands on styled content.
Living through a full-scale renovation also showed me how chaotic the planning side is. Losing links, prices, and screenshots drove me mad—so I used my tech background to build Tablis, a tool to keep track of all your renovation screenshots, products, and budget in one place.
Now, I’ve brought it all together: alongside location shoots and content, I create custom room schemes for clients using Tablis. We’ll collaborate on the initial inspiration and style direction, before I handpick every piece to pull your entire room together.

Shoot Location
A light and airy 5 bedroom Victorian terrace in South West London —a perfect location for film, TV, and photography shoots. With high ceilings, decorative cornicing, and fireplaces, the house features a 7.5 metre wide open plan extension and a large master suite that runs the length of the house. The large spaces mean we can accommodate both intimate shoots and large TV crews.
Our home is located on a quiet road with on-street parking providing a peaceful environment for everything from large-scale productions to smaller, more intimate shoots.
